Mission Statement
Putting My Experience
to Work
The new 36th Ward isn't just a district in Chicago for which I am seeking office. It is where I was born and raised. My family has called West Town home since 1956.
Throughout my life, growing-up in an urban environment, I have been drawn to public policy and urban planning. This curiosity led to my studies in the social sciences as well as a degree in Economics (Loyola University Chicago). I am passionate about implementing solutions that will better our community and increase the quality of life for all its residents. My experience in the private sector has taken me all over the world and has aided in my knowledge and understanding of what economic development initiatives are most impactful to yield flourishing and robust communities.
As a civically engaged resident of the 36th Ward, I have been on the frontlines listening, inquiring, and investigating to understand the pressing matters of our diverse community. While the incumbent sought to diminish the power of voters through his extremely flawed redistricting map, which would have disenfranchised our West Town community it into 8 different Wards, it is my intention to uplift your voices and be a catalyst for positive change in our community, which I call Home.
With this in mind, I hope to garner your support in my humble journey to becoming your next Alderman.
